Having piloted a successful later life community engagement programme in some areas of East Suffolk, over the last twelve months, we are delighted to announce that until the end of March 2023, we will be working with East Suffolk Council to deliver Cuppa & Chat – an all adult age community engagement programme, delivering mixture of both online and face to face activities across the district, with the aim of combating loneliness and social isolation, encouraging people to become more integrated with their community and supporting people to improve their health and wellbeing.
The first of the activities we have launched is an online Cuppa & Chat opportunity – hosted on Zoom, these sessions are hourly and run every Monday (10am – 11am), Wednesday (7pm – 8pm) and Friday (12noon – 1pm), and are available for anyone living in the East Suffolk district. With an intentionally informal format, we invite you to join us for a cuppa and chat, talk to us about what’s going on for you and your community, and give you the opportunity to virtually “meet” others across the area. Some of the sessions will be themed, and are very much about what you want out of them, so we’d love you to join us and tell us how we may be able to support you!
